Testing Details

The ABO and Rh blood type test determines both your ABO group (A, B, AB, or O) and whether you are Rh-positive or Rh-negative. This information is critical for safe blood transfusions, pregnancy management, organ transplants, and emergency care.

This test requires one tube of whole blood (EDTA pink-top). No fasting is necessary. Results are available within 3 business days through our secure patient portal.
