Scope of this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how New Century Labs, LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects information through our website, portals, communications, ordering workflows, and related services.

Some information we handle may be protected health information, or PHI. When HIPAA applies, our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices describes additional rights and obligations. If this Privacy Policy conflicts with the HIPAA Notice for PHI, the HIPAA Notice controls for that PHI.

Information we collect

  • Order and service information, such as selected tests, provider details, patient demographics, billing details, collection logistics, and customer support messages.
  • Health-related information needed to process or support lab testing services, which may include requisition details, results, diagnosis codes, symptoms, medications, or other clinical information you or your provider submit.

Information collected automatically

We may collect device, browser, IP address, referring page, pages viewed, and similar website usage information through cookies, logs, and analytics technologies.

Payment information

Payments may be processed by third-party payment processors. We do not need to store full payment card numbers on our own systems to process ordinary card payments.

How we use information

We do not sell PHI. We do not use PHI for third-party advertising without authorization where HIPAA requires one.

Health information and HIPAA

When we create, receive, maintain, or transmit PHI in a role covered by HIPAA, we use and disclose that PHI as described in our HIPAA Notice and applicable Business Associate Agreements or other healthcare arrangements.

PHI may be used or disclosed for treatment, payment, healthcare operations, legal compliance, and other purposes permitted or required by law.

  • You may contact us to update contact details or correct administrative information.
  • You may unsubscribe from non-essential marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting us.
  • You may disable cookies through your browser settings, though some website functions may not work as intended.
  • You may have additional rights under HIPAA or state privacy laws depending on your location and the type of information involved.

Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and maintain business records.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13. Lab services involving minors must be requested or authorized by a parent, guardian, provider, or other person with legal authority.
