It depends on how the order is placed. For portal orders, your clinic collects payment from the patient before testing begins. For phone (white-glove) and paper-requisition orders — common for integrative and midwifery practices — New Century Labs can collect from the patient directly. Either way, the patient knows the price before the draw.

Yes. New Century Labs can provide itemized receipts with CPT codes on request. Patients can submit these to their HSA, FSA, or HRA administrator. New Century Labs does not file insurance claims.

Yes. The prices shown are representative New Century Labs discounted rates from the 2025–2026 provider pricing schedule. Rates are stable and updated annually. A full test catalog with pricing is provided during your onboarding call.

The lower price comes from a different payment and billing path — not a lower laboratory standard. Testing is processed through a national laboratory network, and orders use pre-negotiated cash-pay rates instead of insurance billing, which removes much of the claims and collections overhead built into insurance-billed prices. The tradeoff is straightforward: payment is made upfront, insurance is not billed, and the purchase may not count toward a patient’s deductible or out-of-pocket maximum.
